Designed for players in the net area, the Yonex Astrox 88S Tour metaccent offers greater control with less power gain. This benefit is mainly reflected in the construction of the racquet frame, where a succession of 8 eyelets (for the horizontal strings in the center of the frame) are wider to offer more movement to these 8 strings.
Incorporating the Rotational Generator System, the snowshoe's weight is distributed between the top of the frame, the T-Joint and the butt cap to deliver more power to your shots, thanks to the application of the counterbalance principle. Combining Extra Slim Shaft and Rexis, the shaft construction offers more intense smashes and improved performance. E.B. Cap Plus maximizes shaft performance. The front allows greater shaft flexibility, while the sides stabilize the racquet face by preventing the shaft from twisting.
The paintjob on Astrox 88S Tour is based on that of the 88S Pro, with the exception of the Tour, which takes the place of the Astrox in the top right-hand corner of the frame. This Yonex badminton racket is based on the racket used by the number 1 mondial in men's doubles*, Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo.
